The term "artist" holds a very broad definition: "A creator of artistic works and one who is skilled, particulary one with a sense of style." With the said, I comfortably define myself as a mixed media "artist".
Owning a real estate company specializing in managment sales and development, I am a licensed Texas Real Estate Agent with a passion in developing and creating unique "niche" properties. My clients allow me to indulge into original opportunities by showcasing and maximizing their investments. Using those development and design virtues embedded in me through real estate, I have bridged to other mediums of art.
Working out of my studio, I have always enjoyed several forms of art including ceramics , wood, paints, fabrics and photography. In January 2005, I was introduced to PMC (Precious Metal Clay). The following February, I was certified as a Level 1 PMC silver artist, in June 2007 I attained the final Level 3 PMC certification and completed my Rio Certification in 2009. I have studied various techniques, and continue to further educate myself by studying under Master artists including Chris Darway, Fred Woell, Thomas Mann, Keith LoBue, Mary Ann Devos, Lisa Blackwell, Sherry Fotopoulos and Doris King, just to name a few.
My passion to explore new ideas is reflected in each piece of art I design. "As an ´artist´ I enjoy expressing "The Story" in my art with hope that it creates a connection to my clients".
My first limited edition collection titled "The Art of the Saddle" debuted in 2006.
